About
Hi, I'm Deborah
For more than two decades, I have had the privilege of walking alongside children, adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, make sense of their experiences, and discover new possibilities for growth and healing.
My work has been shaped by both professional training and personal experience. Over the years, I have come to understand that many of the patterns we struggle with are not signs that something is wrong with us. They are often adaptations developed in response to relationships, experiences, and circumstances that shaped who we became.
This understanding transformed the way I viewed both myself and the people I work with.
Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?” I became more interested in questions such as:
- How did I come to be this way?
- What helped me survive?
- What is trying to emerge now?
These questions continue to guide my work today.
Again and again, I have witnessed what happens when people begin to see themselves through a lens of curiosity rather than judgment.
Something begins to soften. New possibilities emerge.
People develop a clearer, more compassionate, and developmentally mature picture of who they are and how they came to be that way.
And that changes everything.
My Approach
My work integrates:
- Somatic Awareness – Listening to the wisdom of the body.
- Attachment & Development – Understanding how our earliest experiences shape how we relate to ourselves and others.
- Understanding Survival Patterns – Making sense of the strategies and adaptations that helped us survive and exploring what still serves us today.
Together, these perspectives create a compassionate framework for healing, growth, and self-discovery.
